About Us

Our Story

Tailvara was founded on a simple idea : Pet owners deserve practical, reliable products they can count on.

Our name is deeply personal to us. Tailvara combines "Tail" with the name of our beloved dog, Vara. She inspired our love for pets and reminds us every day why quality, comfort, and trust matter. Every product we choose is selected with the same care we'd want for Vara.

We started because we were frustrated. We'd buy pet accessories for our own dogs and cats, products that promised comfort, durability, and style, only for them to fall apart after a few weeks. Sometimes they looked nothing like the photos. Other times they simply weren t comfortable or practical to use. We quickly realised we weren't alone.

Pet owners invest in their pets because they're family. They deserve that investment to be worth something. That's what drove us to create Tailvara.

We're not a massive corporate retailer copying the cheapest designs from everywhere else. We're UK-based pet owners who carefully select every product we sell based on the same standard we'd expect for our own pets. We carefully select products that meet our standards for quality, practicality, and durability.

Our Mission

To make pet care simpler, more comfortable, and more reliable for UK pet owners by offering practical, well-made accessories that are honestly described and fairly priced.

We believe your pet deserves quality that lasts, and you deserve to know exactly what you're buying.

Our Love for Pets

We get it. Your pet isn't just an animal, they're part of your family. They sleep on your bed, they come on holidays with you, and they're there through life's biggest and smallest moments.

That's why we care so much about the products we recommend. We know that when your dog is comfortable on a quality bed, when your cat has a safe carrier for trips to the vet, or when your pet has toys and accessories that truly last, it makes a real difference.

Every item in our collection is chosen with one simple question in mind:

"Would we happily buy this for Vara?"

If the answer isn't yes, it doesn't become part of Tailvara.

Because your pets deserve the same love, comfort, and care that inspired us to create Tailvara in the first place.
